our mission is to...

Create safe and inclusive spaces for mothers and families to receive support, information, and treatment.

Promote awareness surrounding maternal mental health through education, advocacy, assessment, treatment and training.

End the stigma surrounding perinatal mood disorders by using our voices to raise awareness, educate and support families across preconception through the first two years postpartum.

Our Vision is to provide uniform and consistent screenings, and treatment for maternal mental health concerns and other challenges across the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. The Collaborative seeks to engage and build trust among individuals, funders, government agencies, law enforcement and mental health providers to transform the way we care for families on the Eastern Shore. We aim to help parents feel heard, acknowledged and supported, and to have quality resources to help families thrive in their transition into parenthood.

Working in partnership with local providers, organizations, and agencies, we aim to strengthen the support network in our community to ensure women are screened, treated and referred throughout pregnancy and into the first two years postpartum.
